How hard are the belts to find. They should sell the damn belts too.
Belts are a very common size and are not hard to find. Milwaukee is going to have its own belts available soon though as well
Very nice track saw system that Milwaukee has introduced
What's the weight
39.1 lbs
Красава😂
Nice sockets too
can you adjust the power on this? It's ripping through some vinyl trim and I need to lower the punch- is this possible?
You can adjust the depth
My clock is so tiny & doesnt stay on in standby bluetooth volume control dont work either 😡
Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you may have gotten a defective unit. We suggest returning to where you purchased and having it swapped out.
Great review!!
Thank you!
Clicked for the title. Stayed for the content
Thank you!
Whoever made this video title does not know the difference between power and runtime. The 6.0 Forge isn't really going to run as long as the older batteries with larger numbers printed on their sides.
Ahh so the head is probably the bigget chunk of the expense, of manufacture. As the body bar a few bits looks like all the others. Hmm I could see me wanting both heads. But the cost of two bare units. Tough choices
Anyone use this on railroad ties?
Did you watch the end of the video?? It shows the beam cutter in use
@@toolnut I'm curious about railroad ties. Specifically, how fast do they dull the chain?
@@steffencornell7607 Not sure sorry. If you’re using a regular chainsaw now to cut them then would probably be roughly same amount of time. Speed will play a factor between the the two but essentially they both use a chainsaw chain. No lubricant on this though but could use spray lubricant
I started a woodshop in my garage a couple years ago and the 1st thing I bought was a new Skil band saw, the 3386. Same size as that one in your video, but the older model from before it came out. The first time I tried firing it up the drive belt snapped cleanly in two and I just let it sit there. I've since bought a nice used 14" floor model Delta (28-276) band saw that runs great and has more power than I'll ever need. I've asked several folks if they'd like a new Skil band saw that needs a belt and apparently I can't even give the thing away. So it sits on my bench collecting dust. I do like their Skilsaws, what they were originally known for, but as they say, once bitten, twice shy and so I've filled my shop with everything from Rockwell to Delta to DeWalt, to Wen and Craftsman but I haven't bought Skil since. I almost bought the Skil 10" drill press yesterday but at the last second chose the 10" Wen 4212T as, though it only has a 5amp motor instead of Skil's 6.2, I'm only drilling into wood and the Wen has variable speed control with no need to manually change the belt position on the pulleys.
The dewalt is faster and American, Milwaukee is Chinese owned
That top bag looks like a copied veto pro
Thanks!
I hate to say it, but it looks like Dewalt has topped Viking Arm. The foot operation would be really handy sometimes. Also, if you notice... the lifting surface is bent 90-deg, and held with horizontal screws into the lifting body. Viking Arm's lifting surfaces are screwed vertically up into the lifting body. The _sheering_ forces on the Dewalt screws will be MUCH stronger than pulling directly on the screw threads of the Viking Arm. All this _after I've invested_ in two Viking Arms + the cab install kit for both + created a custom van storage solution for all. Ahh well.
What is the Viking arm cabinet install kit?
@@lylewaters6161 It's an extension which slips over the lifting body and let's you lift higher. And they're adjustable. I modified mine quite a bit. They fit so tightly they were very difficult to get on & off. I banged my fingers badly a couple of times removing them. I modded them so they're easy to install & remove... and I cut them down in height, so that one plain VA can lift something up to the height of one extension in the collapsed position. They work great now.
@@Golgafrinchamdent cool
Ordered! That thing looks SICK!

its strange that stanley black and decker who owns erwin and dewalt would make 2 diferent verions of this instead of just branding them diferent. i have 2 vicking arms. they are game changer tool. definetly one of top 10 of the last 10 years. so handy. i use mine all the time. yesterday i used it to hold an entire supended floor up while i put shims under it. all i had to work with was a hole 24 " long by 10 " wide. it lifted the floor and me up no problem . i will buy the dewalt version of this just for the way the handle is oreintated. using your foot to lift while standing would be so handy.
They're targeting different markets at different price points. They're manufacturing and selling the irwin for less
The DeWalt seems to have some nice improvements on the Viking Arm at a much better price. Also, I know it’s beating a dead horse, but I really miss the ToolNut showroom. I never walked out of that place without a few more extra doodads as well. The place was a true woodworker’s candy store. There is no replacing seeing and touching some of these expensive specialty tools before buying, not to mention always knowledgeable staff at the ready. And demos!!! I always buy store pickup now, just to have a little chat with whoever opens the door to hand me my boxes 😆
We also miss the showroom and hope to have one again in the next couple of years when we move to a larger facility. We truly appreciate our loyal customers. Thank you Chris!
I bought the Dewalt twin pack, in Australia it's Stanley though.
Me alludarian para saber si precio Gracias
Once I saw the choice of shoes chekered van slides pfffff you lost me 😆 Show me you're not a carpenter by not saying a word looks down at feet 😆......
Thats rediculas. Milwaukee is going to the shits.
For continual use on high you would need 12 of the 12ah batteries and 8 super chargers, which would cost $4200. Also 22 batteries and 9 rapid chargers for $6,670 will give you continuous use per blower. Seems pretty steep, but I often use my gas blower for longer than 90 minutes in a single continuous use, let alone 30 minutes.
Eu quero um desse máquina dessa DR Dewalt
Too bad all my m18 batteries failed and Milwaukee refused warranty even though 2 years old.. M12 failing too... Expect run time to be a fraction of what they say within a year.
Sorry to hear that. Crazy that all of them failed at the same time......Did you try warranty through where you bought them or did you go direct through Milwaukee website? The only cases I've seen claims turned down directly by Milwaukee is when the batteries failed due to water. This voids the warranty.
@@toolnut I had two M18 batteries that came with the string trimmer kit and a blower, both purchased within a few weeks of each other. By the 2nd season I was seeing half the run time. One is completely dead. Sent them into Milwaukee, they no longer keep registrations records, and without the original receipt they would not honor the warranty. I had one M12 replaced under warranty, the rest are past the 2 years that you get with M12. Most now come off the charger at 3 bars, and drop very quickly. Real shame, I loved my M12/M18 tools, but now I'd be hesitant to spend that much with how poor their batteries have been.
@@crzyworm623 Ahhh, yes receipts are required for any warranties
Got mine two days ago. Like butter...
Great video, and amazing content!!!
Thanks for watching Caleb!
When is this coming out?
It's out already, US has been for a couple months, worldwide just starting to hit certain retailers.
@@speedsnipeIt is not out yet......this is being released end of June/early July
End of June, early July
@@toolnut eh, my supplier promised mid June, paid for mine today (Taiwan). A couple online listings from Milwaukee site list it as available.
@@toolnut Your? site is on there too, but dead link
Mine doesn't work
I have one, but I feel that a 2.5 battery is a bit small. But still a great tool.
Very tasty...
Like the idea of it, but I currently run a Stihl HS81R and a Husqvarna 522HDR75X. If need be, they can go through 2 inch, and have a 75cm blade. If Milwaukee can match that, at a reasonable price, i might switch!
Would have been good to see it cut something…..
This audio is very unsettling
Where
This shit ass
Hmm... looks like these could be _better_ than Viking Arm? And I've already invested in two of those, along with cabinet installation kits for both. I had to modify these extensions for what I'm doing and now have a very usable system. But... The fact that the lift plates on the VA are screwed in vertically puts ALL the weight directly on the threads in it's aluminum body. Dewalt appears to have it's lift plate screwed in the face of the lifting body, and then bent 90-deg for the tongue. Much stronger design. One thing though... it appears that it would be much harder to make vertical extensions for the Dewalt. Maybe they can but we'll have to see.
I don’t understand why the rigid one is more powerful.
is this the same as the IRWIN, what with SBD owning all o dat?
*DeWalt should give the base a female cross-receptacle so it can be turned 90º for a zero offset, making it ideal for jacking things needing a 0" flush setback. Then the front of the foot would not be an impingement! DeWalt, if you make a revision, please send me a complimentary revised jack :-)*
Stupidest music
I thought this would be nice to work on the riding mower….. then I saw the price. I think that will be a nope from me.
I just bought this and it seems really complicated
That fan is a beast. All day on a 12ah battery.
Not having the option of bigger nails is an issue. 3/4 inch baseboard 1/2 drywall gives you 1/4 inch of grab in a stud .
A finish nailer is a better choice for trim and will give you up to 2-1/2 nail lenght
Pro Tip: The 150 pad fits and works 100% on the 125, same performance! Festool officially claims the only difference is the Brake but users on the Festool Owners Group proved that was incorrect and functions properly.
